Please carry me to my Suite

Finally we are back at the hotel 6:58 pm. This had been the most exhausting week of my life. We have had way too much fun, but there is literally no down time other than when you actually get to bed. The boys are on a very short leash from wake up to Journal readings, and 11 pm room check.

The Eye was spectacular for our trip. We scheduled for 5 pm and went off just a bit early. Our full group of a 20+ was able to ride together which included Paul’s Mum and Dad, and his brother. M & D have spent several days with us this week. They have been a delightful addition to our adventure. All I will tell you is that the views are spectacular of many of the historical buildings we saw in person. It never stops so you have to hustle a bit to fill your pod when the time comes. 16 pounds for an adult and 8 for children, which Barry priced the boys at, although it is no reflection on their behavior this week. In general they have been stellar.

Honestly I am too tired to write any more today, plus I may have to walk her majesty to the Ladies room or shoo away another panhandler before this day ends.

Tomorrow we will wander St. Albans for a few hours then watch the boys in their final match vs. Queens School.

Did you know that the original portion of Westminster Abbey was dedicated in 1065?
