We're in England

Here’s something I’ve never typed: “Greetings from England”. The flight went off without a hitch and with the tail winds we actually arrived early. All of the luggage made it and once we reminded Ross what color his bag was we were on our way.
It’s 8:32 am and we are on the bus with our host Barry on the way to Cambridge (St. Ives). Travel time is anywhere from 2-4 hours depending on London rush-hour traffic, which at this point is 25 mph. Our plan is to stop in about an hour for breakfast and stretching a bit- then complete the 90 minutes left to the hotel.
From the conversations I am hearing in the back of the bus most of the boys did not sleep on the way over. Mid day today should prove interesting as they hit the wall or try hard not to.

For the record we are 5 hours ahead of Toledo and I am writing this with my sunglasses on.

In an effort to not forget, I will say “thanks, I had a great time” now. On behalf of all of my traveling partners, thank you to all the moms, dads, husbands, wives and siblings that made it work for all of us. I travel all the time and fly 2-4 times most months, but this is my first trip to Europe and I can’t wait to photograph the week.

The M25 looks like the Ohio Turnpike only the folks here drive on the wrong side. Apparently that is acceptable here and to remain consistent with that plan all of the local drivers sit in the passenger seat to operate their vehicles. With all the help I get driving at home from Lori, driving here would be a disaster for me.
